FZU laboratory qualified as one of five laboratories worldwide to perform a massive testing of SiPMs for neutrino experiment DUNE. The testing was started in October 2023 using a measurement setup adopted from Italian laboratories, see setup picture on the right. There have been tested 5 boxes(and one small) of SiPM boards delivered from Spain and 6 boxes from Italy. Each box usually contains 400 boards with 6 SiPMs each. In total 4450 SiPM boards have been tested by the end of 2024. |
